PERSONALITY OVERVIEW; Beneath the whiny, vain, unfaithful exterior Yoki does actually care about the people that put up with him. He enjoys order and routine, and to be in control of his surroundings. He gets emotional very easily, but pretends to disregard others' feelings. He likes to be the center of attention, and doesn't really care how he gets there. He makes it hard for people to like him, but in the end he'd put himself in harms way in order to help those he considers friends. (Who are you kidding he is the greatest human being to walk the earth and you know it.)
(gonna have to make some stuff up here)

BASIC HISTORY; Yoki was the youngest of three brothers born into a fairly wealthy family in eastern Amestris. Lyman- the oldest- was 6 years older than himself, and Elias was 3 years older. He was rather spoiled and his parents made sure his older brothers didn't pick on him. He quickly learned how to get his parents attention by throwing tantrums, and grew up expecting everything to be handed to him, you know- the average bratty younger sibling. Despite not getting along very well with his brothers he looked up to them, especially Lyman who was a natural leader, while Elias was more of a mediator. Yoki and Lyman often let their competitive natures get out of control and they had a constant battle of one-upping each other. Lyman had the advantage- he was someone people naturally looked up to and so he quickly gained reputation when he joined the military. Yoki joined too, determined to finally beat his older brother at something, but surprisingly to him he just didn't command people's respect like Lyman. So, not above cheating, he bribed his way up the chain of command.
His mother died when he was 29, and his father when he was 34. In the same year Lyman died in a battle with Creta. Yoki and Elias, who had grown apart quite a bit by this time, were each given half of the inheritance. Yoki used most of his to buy himself a position as proprietor of the Youswell mining town. Growing up in a mining town he had always enjoyed geography and geology, and felt rather at home in Youswell since he actually knew what he was doing when it came to mining. However, his leadership skills were still lacking quite a bit. He enjoyed the good life for awhile, but now that he no longer had Lyman to one-up, he wasn't quite sure what he should be doing besides trying to gain as much power as he could. Then Edward Elric showed up in Youswell and things quickly went downhill. He ended up homeless and jobless, which was completely out of his comfort zone, and somehow wound up in an Ishvalan refugee town. It was there that he spotted the scarred Ishvalan wanted by the military, and naturally he tried to turn him in for the reward. That didn't quite go as planned, and so he got sucked into a series of events that was much larger than himself, and to be honest most of it went right over his head. All he knew was that Scar and May and Marcoh seemed to care about him more than anyone else ever had- even if it wasn't a lot. At least they didn't abandon him in the wilderness when he was complaining.
They traveled all over the country and he's pretty sure he almost died at least fifty different times. He ran over the most powerful homunculus with a car- crashed the car into a lamppost later but lets just forget about that- and then when everything was finally over he stuck around with Darius and Heinkel for awhile. They became part of a traveling circus, but that really just wasn't his thing, so after some sincere goodbyes he left- determined to be a better person. Also, getting a better job would be nice.
ALIAS; Alicia
OTHER; nah
RP EXAMPLE; It was warm out, but the heat was not in any way oppressive. Gravel crunched beneath his boots as he made his way into the town. It was nothing like Ost, with its towering buildings and bustling streets, but it would have to do. It was mostly small houses and shops, with one main road running through its center. He walked along this road, hands in his pockets, looking into the dull shop windows. He hadn't brought any money, so he wouldn't be able to get anything- even if he wanted to. Most of the Iton employees spent their days off in Gypsum, shopping or mingling with locals. Siem wasn't here to do either of those things, but he had run out of books in his room. I wonder if this pathetic excuse for a town has a library. he wondered, fiddling with his necktie. His deep blue eyes scanned the rows of buildings, disapproving of what they saw. A couple of people passed him on the street, not bothering to greet him. It was pretty slow for such a nice summer day, but he slowly realized most people would be working in the mines. He huffed, and eventually came across a small bookstore. It looked as if it might be closed, but he tested the door and found it open. With an uncomfortably loud creak, it closed behind him and shut out the cheery summer light. "This is more like it." he murmured, picking up the nearest book and brushing the thick layer of dust off its cover. He glanced over his shoulder, and spotted someone who must be the owner of the store behind a desk. She was plump, with thick curly hair held up in a ponytail, and sleeping. He let out a small snort of contempt, and preceded to open the small book.
The History of Gypsum.
Delightful.
