PERSONALITY OVERVIEW; Because his moods seem to change constantly Liyang's personality is hard to pin down. One moment he can be all 'bad-guy' and comes across as fairly menacing, but the next minute he flinches back and starts talking to himself about how he really isn't cut out for the job. He can be civil and pleading one moment and then appear cynical and sarcastic the next. He can be clever and have a thing for noticing little details, but can also be completely oblivious to the obvious and make poor life choices. With the rapid changes all he really accomplishes is a very good impression of a complete spazz.
He usually puts up a fairly light-hearted and thoughtful front, unless the situation calls for seriousness. But still he usually thinks about others before he thinks about himself. It all boils down to him looking like a pushover, kind of air-headed, and not all that threatening. He doesn't enjoy fighting and will probably try to get out of it in any way he can.
Liyang loves to tease, mock, and mess with people on a daily basis. He has a tendency to dub his favorite "victims" (his friends) different names. But his intentions are never to hurt anyone, but there are times where he may take it too far. If so, he would be the first to apologize for his actions though he sucks horribly at it.
He strongly believes in zodiac-signs and horoscopes, even carrying a so-called "lucky item" with him everywhere.

BASIC HISTORY; Liyang Yoon pretty much had a simple life. Actually, he would say that he had a great life. He was born into a wealthy lifestyle. His father was an oil tycoon and the money he made allowed his family to live a carefree life. Liyang had everything a child could ever want or need; caring parents and money. His mother, Antionette Yoon, was very loving and tended to baby the boy at times. His father, Mr. Gato, was one for tough love. He wanted to push his son to strive to be the best. Anavel knew this, but at times he did wish his father would ease up a little.
He was home schooled and had his very own martial arts trainer. When he was younger he never took his martial arts serious besides working with the staff which he found amazing. But the way Liyang saw it, he was going to follow in the footsteps of his father. So why did he need to learn martial arts? It puzzled, but he continued with his classes because it pleased his father.
Liyang's whole path change at the age of seven when he saw his great uncle Giolio doing alchemy. It was cool and amazing. After that moment, every chance that Liyang saw his great uncle he would plead to him to teach him. Eventually Giolio gave it seeing as he did want someone to carry on with his title when he passed on, but he told Liyang he must take all his training serious.
Years passed by, each day Liyang trained and read the books his great uncle gave him. Of course his mother disapproved. It was dangerous, but nothing she could say would change Liyang's mind. Seeing the look of determination in Liyang's eyes, Mrs. Yoon gave his sons his blessings to do as he pleased. "You better come back to visit every month. You might be growing into a young man, but you're still our baby!" was his mother's parting words.
He moved in with Giolio so that he could have better understanding of his alchemy. Everything was going great and as Liyang had planned it. Unfortunately, Giolio met his end at the hands of Scar before Liyang even applied for being a State Alchemist. In Liyang's eyes Giolio was his loving uncle who served in the military. He hated the one called Scar for this and vowed to get revenge. Two years later he took the State exam and pass, becoming a State Alchemist.
ALIAS; Loon
OTHER; I love long walks on the beach under the moonlight. My favorite color is green I believe. Oh, and I only eat on days that end in 'Y.'
RP EXAMPLE;
A slight smile danced across Liyang's face as he stared up at the moon, resting it the night's sky. It was quiet and peaceful, the perfect time to relax and reflect on his thoughts. "...Maybe I should try to--" He was pulled away from his thoughts when he heard a woman's scream reached his ears. He eyes quickly darted to the dark alleyway to see four men surrounding a woman.
"Seriously? People still do stuff like this these days?" He had entered the alleyway and was approaching the men. "Oww... You guys are ugly. I can see why she scream," He said. One of the guys ran at him, attempting to punch him, but Liyang gracefully moved to the left of him and planted his foot into the man's face. Liyang quickly charged forward and took out the remaining men before turning his attention to the woman. "No need to thank me. I'm just doing what any goo--"
Liyang was slapped in the face by the woman. "THAT'S MY BROTHER!!!"
"Wait--What? Your brother was trying--"
"IT WAS AN ACT! WE WERE PRETENDING SO WE COULD ROB YOU!" The woman helped up her brother and started to walk off along with the other injured men. As always, Liyang had no luck with women. "... You should have just asked! I would have just given you the money!" He yelled, "AND YOUR ACTING'S HORRIBLE!!!"
