Then there is Felix's Alchemy, a specialized form of combat alchemy that focuses on creating a larger number of blades and blade like weapons at a given time. He has a lean, athletic body created from years of practicing the art of fencing/Xingese Sword fighting; Felix's arms are quite slender but have a noticeable muscular build to them, and his legs are similar in build, giving him a quick appearance. Due to his mixed heritage, his skin tone is much closer to the paler tone of that of an Xingese than his Amestrian side, while he wears his black hair shaggy and low to his
ears. Most people who meet Felix tend to say the same thing, that he always has a bored, tired expression on his face. His brown eyes usually are half-opened, containing a gleam of supposed boredom, and a black ring-like birthmark encircles his right eye.
As for his choice of attire, Felix, while on duty, wears the tradition uniform worn by State Alchemists, with a specially made pair of leather gloves with transmutation circles etched into the palms to allow quicker on-the-fly alchemy. Lower down, he carries a sword on each side of his hips. On the left hip, a Amestrian long sword, and on the right, a Xingese short blade. As for off duty, he prefers something simple, such as a plain buttoned-up shirt, and a pair of slacks.

PERSONALITY OVERVIEW; People say that Felix likes to move at a certain kind of pace, which is slow. And they'd be right. He
believes it's best to take the small things at one's own pace, that they'll get done when they'll get done. That being said, Felix is certainly no slouch, He just prefers to not waste energy rushing stuff like paperwork, when he could use that energy for more important things, like sharpening his swordsmanship, walking around Central, or performing Alchemy. However, when being forced to take the aforementioned small stuff seriously, he tries to push through it, and try his best to get it down quickly, but neatly. Another thing is, thanks to being the son of a Blacksmith, Felix learned to be very patient to the point where he can stand around waiting for long periods of time without so much of a complaint.
He's been accused of being blunt, but Felix isn't trying to be rude. He just believes that he shouldn't waste the energy lying to someone just to spare their feelings. If it’s something they need to know, and he knows without a doubt that they can get through later, then why would he bother lying?
People tend to wonder what Felix is like when he DOES exert himself. Well, when he does decide to take a more active role, people have joked that if Felix were like that all the time, he would’ve been promoted by now. When motivated, Felix reveals his true self; he becomes unusually energetic, and a lot more eager to do things.

BASIC HISTORY;
Born in the desert town of Liore, Felix was the second child of an Amestrian swordsmith turned blacksmith named Samuel Talbot, and a Xingese warrior named Jia Li. His older sister by five years, Annabel. Felix only spent a short time in Liore after his birth, two weeks to be precise, as the Talbots were in the middle of moving to the larger city that was East City. The move was rather uneventful, seeing as East City was in the boonies of Amestris. Once there, the young Talbot's life was largely uneventful, his days were spent with Annie, exploring around the backyard of their house, or Annie reading one of her books about Alchemy until Felix fell asleep, Also when it was allowed, visit their father at the smithy to watch him work. He’d teach about blacksmithing and the process that goes into forging molten iron into various things that people can use.
It was like this for most of his childhood, until Felix's sixth birthday, where in the Talbot Family, it was apparently tradition to teach a child swordsmanship on his or her sixth birthday. He could scarcely remember Annie going through the same thing when she turned six, she learned how to use the Xingese form of sword combat, taught by their mother.
Samuel wanted to teach him the Amestrian way of swordplay, but Jia Li argued that the Xingese form was superior to the Amestrian form. The two of them argued about which form was superior for some time until the young Felix piped up, and asked if he could learn both. Felix could remember the two of them looking at him, and then back at each other, had a good laugh, and agreed.
Felix's training was difficult at first, as his parents were quite serious about their young son's training, as his mother was with Annie’s. Training was slow to say the least, at least from Felix's perspective. Much of his days were filled with lecture and little actual swordplay, and soon it did not sit well with the little Talbot. He stated his thoughts on the matter much like any little boy his age would... By throwing a fit.
His mother's reply was simple: A swift smack to the face. She went onto firmly tell her son that there was nothing childish about wielding a sword, that just by holding a sword, you become an instrument that can either protect lives, or snuff them out with a single swing, and if he was going have these weak, and childish ambitions, Felix shouldn’t even bother trying to learn, and stay weak. Jia Li wasn’t one to pull her punches, especially when it came to her own children.
Afterwards, Felix crying in his room for most of the day when his sister, Annie came to him and told him something that stuck to him to this very day. She told her younger brother of an instance during her own training with mom, where she felt same as he did. She questioned their mother about the necessity of lectures when it was the actual training that was important. Jia Li called her an idiot for thinking like that. Their mother told her that anyone can swing a sword, but it takes a true master to understand the gravity of the swing; each one could end a life just as easily as snapping a finger. It’s a weak being that turns their swords into terrible beasts, but a truly strong being turns their swords into protectors of what’s important.
After hearing this, Felix realized how foolish he had been. After Annie helped him calm down, Felix went back to his mother, and begged her to take him back. He pleaded, and pleaded, telling her that he learned what it really means to become a swordsman, that he didn’t want to be weak, but someone that can raise their head high, and protect. Jia Li stood there, silent for a moment, staring down at her son. This worried Felix but when he looked up at her, she was smiling. She helped Felix up to his feet, dusted him off, and told her son to be ready in the morning. Felix was both relieved, and ecstatic, but more importantly, he realized that day that this wasn’t playing make-believe, or something as silly. If he was going to learn how to use a sword, he had to take the very possible consequences of his actions seriously.
Felix's training with his parents progressed rather smoothly after that, Annie even helped out by giving pointers, and sparred with her younger brother from time to time, and Jia Li even taught him some martial arts, including sensing something that people in her homeland of Xing, call the Dragon’s Pulse. By the time Felix turned ten, he grown quite skilled with both Amestrian swordplay, and Xingese, though wasn’t as skilled as Annie when it came to the Xingese style.
It was around this time that Annie began showing a great deal of interest in Alchemy, after she had her first encounter with a State Alchemist. Felix didn’t think too much of it as he wasn’t as enthusiastic about Alchemy as she was, at least that’s how it started anyway. One day when their parents were out shopping, suddenly Anna comes rushing into the house, yelling about something amazing. Without a moment to think, she grabbed the young Talbot, and practically dragged him to the backyard.
It was here that Felix witnessed his first example of Alchemy. Annie had created a small dirt statue using alchemy, it was basic alchemy certainly, but alchemy nonetheless. She explained that she finally learned how to perform Alchemy, apparently she read enough books, and talked to enough people that she could learn the basics on her own.
After seeing what had transpired before his own eyes; Felix was certainly surprised enough to be interested in learning more about Alchemy, which made Annie very happy. Between helping around the house, training, and whatever else, Annie would still teach him everything about Alchemy. She left nothing out of their lessons, she taught him everything from Comprehension, Deconstruction, and Reconstruction to Equivalent Exchange, which she made the most important of all. She made it clear that Alchemy wasn’t magic, and that to create something; something of equal value must be lost. Felix asked her what would happen if someone didn’t follow Equivalent Exchange, all she told him was something very, very bad would happen if one didn’t follow the law of Equivalent Exchange. The Young Talbot took to Annie’s teachings quite easily, and after a year later, her labors paid off and Felix performed Alchemy for the very first time.
With Alchemy, the Talbot siblings certainly made things a bit easier for their parents; their father wasn’t exactly pleased though. He wasn’t a big fan of Alchemy, as he believed it was a shortcut when it came to forging, but Annie’s skill at Alchemy proved too much of a good thing for Samuel to stay upset for long.
For a time, life was all right, even with the Ishval Civil War looming in the distance, until Felix was about thirteen when Annie decided to become a State Alchemist. Neither Samuel or Jia Li weren’t very happy with Annie’s choice, as like many people of the time, thought State Alchemists as “Dogs of the Military” Annie argued that it would be a good thing for both her, and the family if she became a State Alchemist. She’d be living out her dream of studying Alchemy, while also providing extra income for the family. Even though he was thirteen, Felix supported his sister’s choice; he believed if anyone would make a noble State Alchemist, it’d be Annie. After a few more talks, mom and Dad finally relented, and gave Annie their blessing.
Annie passed her exam with flying colors, and began her new military life close by. However her career started at a terrible time, as it wasn't long before news came that all State Alchemists were being shipped off to Ishval. Annie referred to this as "Bringing peace to Ishval." While Felix was barely a teenage, he knew his sister well enough to know she was lying and very afraid, but he could do nothing but wish for her safety and come back home. In what felt like an eternity, Annabel returned home after a year in Ishval as if nothing happened... But Felix could tell, she wasn't the same.
Since then, life for Felix had been relatively quiet. It wasn’t until he turned eighteen where Felix decided to follow Annie’s footsteps, and like Annie, his parents were not thrilled, especially so soon after the end of the war in Ishval. It was a tough sell, a very, very tough sell. While they didn't know what exactly occurred in Ishval, Samuel and Jia Li, especially Jia Li had an idea of what had happened, and what changed their daughter. They did not want the same to happen to their son. It took days upon days of constant convincing, but soon they finally gave in and reluctantly gave Felix their blessings.
After going through the proper channels, He was all set to take State Alchemist Qualification Exam. The exam was difficult to say the least, he wasn’t like Annie, but Felix managed to pass, and was officially a State Alchemist, and was given the codename: The Infinity Blade Alchemist.
But due to bad timing, and luck; Felix found out that Annie was being transferred to Central! He was devastated as he was hoping to work alongside his sister like before, but fate decided differently. Felix, along with their parents saw Annie off at the Train Station, and like that she was gone.
After Annie left for Central, Felix spent much of his time researching various forms of Alchemy, as it was the only thing that
interested him enough to actually spend the energy. His time in East City as a State Alchemist wasn’t the most exciting, but he did have access to a huge grant, and allowed him to help his parents relax.
Once in a while, Felix would get phone calls from Annie, and listen her talk about how exciting Central is, and how marvelous their research on Alchemy is. She was the same Annie he knew, and love… Yet, each time when she called, Annie sounded more and more tired, distant even. Her calls also became less frequent until a year later; they stopped altogether, which not only worried Felix, but Samuel and Jia Li as well. Felix tried to rationalize this as her just being busy, seeing Central was the heart of the Military, it wasn’t until two years later when he finally saw Annie again… That, that wasn’t the case at all.
Annie had come back from Central to visit Eastern Command, but it wasn’t to see him, or even their parents; she had returned for business, and only that. Felix tried to talk to his older sister, but she constantly snubbed him, saying she was too busy. When he did manage to flag her down, something about Annie changed. It was her eyes, they were cold, and it was like instead of looking at Felix, she was looking through him. It was as if all the feelings she had been hiding since the Ishval Civil War had finally be let out. And just as quickly as she arrived, she returned to Central without so much as a goodbye, or even a visit to their parents. His big sister, his teacher, who he loved dearly… Acted like he wasn’t worth her time, her own brother! He couldn’t believe it, that
was not the Annie he grew up with, something happened to her in Central, and he planned to find out what.
Shortly afterwards, Felix requested to be transferred to Central. After saying his goodbyes to his parents, Felix was on a train straight to Central City. Once again, thanks to poor luck, he found out that Annie had left for Xing as soon she returned to Central. Again, his sister left Felix behind, and he certainly wasn’t able to request going to Xing, as the young State Alchemist didn’t have
a good enough reason. So, here he was in Central, without his sister again, and this time without his parents nearby. And even stranger, when he first arrived in Central, he had this terrible feeling like underneath the streets he walked, there were hundreds and hundreds of people crawling on top of each other, but he chalked it up to being in a new city, alone. However, Felix couldn’t just mope around, he was a State Alchemist, and even though he couldn’t enjoy that with Annie, or his folks, he still had a goal to do! So, Felix sat out to find what had happened to Annie during her time her. Felix looked, questioned, and followed, but would always came up cold. Despite not being able to find anything, his time in Central wasn’t bad; it was a lot better than Eastern Command certainly. He even had an encounter with Führer Bradley, and had a wonderful discussion about the swords they carried… But despite the good time he had with him, Felix kept having this weird feeling about him, like something wasn’t right with him. But this sense was washed away like a pebble in an ocean that was the feeling he got when he arrived in
Central, and much like it, chose to ignore it.
Skipping a year ahead, to the day of the Solar Eclipse. It was a rather chaotic day to say the least; Felix was involved in the fight against Mustang's Coup for a time, until he found out the truth about the real coup from a corrupt official from the radio, then Bradley returned and Felix wasn't sure what to make of things. So, he stuck to the quiet scene of the battle, making sure no civilians were caught in the crossfire.
Afterwards, he was certain what had happened, one moment he was running, then the next felt this horrible chi wave through his bones. It was like a hand wrapping around his neck, he couldn’t breathe, and finally complete darkness. Felix woke up a little bit later, still with no knowledge of what just happened. He would note that the horrible chi that he felt disappeared shortly after.
Since that day things have changed for the Military for the better, and it seemed like the world was right on track. As for Felix, he went back to doing what he always did, his job whenever it interested him. As for his Annie, well… It’s been two years again since he last saw her in Eastern Command, and still hasn't found out what happened that changed her, but he will not give up. Felix will keep searching until the day he die to find out what turned Annie into what she is now…

RP EXAMPLE;
This is from a character of mine named Hyûga Kisho on a Naruto Site. This is where he introduces himself to his new team.
Kisho could only raise a brow at this man's strange request. He wanted to them to describe themselves to him AND state their gender? It certainly took a moment for this to really sink into the young Hyûga's mind, but when it did... He came to a rather surprising revelation. (One that he should've probably caught on earlier but that was when he thought the
man before him was just a crazy tree bum.)
The jounin that would teach Kisho the skills he would need to become a jounin himself... WAS BLIND?! On the outside, Kisho appeared stony and indifferent but inside, he was trying to rationalize what this meant.
"Hm... My sensai is blind, and a jounin. Normally losing one's sight would be the end for a normal life, especially if they want to be a shinobi... Yet, here he is.... A jounin." Kisho didn't know how this Shadow Goon-Ju lost his sight, but that wasn't important. All Kisho knew was that that man in front of him, had proved himself to the world, and that certainly brought a quick flash of happiness through the Hyûga.
At least his new teacher was, in Kisho's pale eyes, respectable... Unfortunately, he couldn't really say the same for the two other genins that would be his teammates. They were from the Honomoeru clan, Kisho didn't know much about this clan other than they were small, and had no territory to call their own. He wondered if that was the case, why even bother to call yourself a clan in the first place?
Taking a glancing look at the two Honomoeru, The Hyûga took a few mental notes of his
teammates. One wore so much black, that it was amazing the world hadn't been drained of color, and the other... Kisho hadn't even spoken to this one, and already he annoyed the Byakugan user.
A rather audible, and slightly irritated sigh escaped Kisho's mouth. His team wasn't exactly what he had expected, but it was out of his hands. Maybe there'll be a silver lining to all this, perhaps these two Honomoeru were actually quite skilled and worthy of being on the same team as a Hyûga. For now, he just had to bare with it and keep the day moving forward.
"Right... As I mentioned before, my name is Hyûga Kisho." He repeated for the two newcomers, he didn't really like to say
the same thing twice in such a short amount of time but he had to deal with it. "And I'm a young man, though that shouldn't really be an issue that causes confusion." He explained, sounding somewhat indifferent, but suddenly changed to a tone of smug pride.
"And all I need to say to describe myself... Is that I'm from the most superior clan of shinobi to come out of Kohoha: The Hyûga clan." Kisho couldn't help but let out a little smirk as he said these words. Some would say he was bragging, but how can you brag undeniable fact?
